"Gaisky mining and processing plant" enterprise was built at copper-sulphide deposit.
Deposit development dated back to XVIII century, when a unique vitrolic and remedial lake was discovered. 76 % of copper reserves of Orenburg region is concentrated here. 9 May, 1959 is considered to be the date of plant establishment, when the first stripping scoop was taken out in the quarry №1.
